Partnering with Long Beach Community Table

Mike’s (Santa’s) birthday today and what better way to spend it than doing something we both love!  Partnering with Long Beach Community Table, we started our day at Drake Park, where we handed out 25 stockings to those who were there to get groceries.  But the day was only beginning!

Then it was off to the Multi-Service Center (and the surrounding area) to see if anyone was there…  We handed out probably 40 stockings to those camped in the neighboring area.  They were so surprised that someone would take the time to focus on them and bring them something for Christmas.  Once we started, people materialized from all over and were so grateful for what we gave them.  We got many compliments on the cookies too!

All in all, it was a beautiful day of celebration and giving that means so much to all of us.  It’s a win–win situation every time.

Recap:  A total of 100 stockings were delivered in 2025.  This was twice what we handed out in 2024!
